Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Project Architect to join our team and contribute to the design and technical development of educational facilities. The ideal candidate is passionate about architecture, highly skilled in documentation, and capable of translating design concepts into fully coordinated construction documents. This role requires strong collaboration with clients, consultants, and contractors, as well as the ability to balance creative vision with technical accuracy. The Project Architect will play a key role in ensuring design integrity and quality through all project phases while contributing to cre8’s culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design development and production of construction documents.
• Collaborate with project managers, principals, and design teams to achieve project goals.
• Coordinate with consultants and engineers to integrate building systems.
• Ensure drawings, specs, and presentations meet quality, code, and project requirements.
• Participate in client meetings and present design solutions effectively.
• Support construction administration through submittal review, RFIs, and site visits.
• Manage multiple project tasks while maintaining accuracy and deadlines.
• Mentor junior staff in design and documentation best practices.

Qualifications:

• Professional degree in architecture (BA, BS, B.Arch, or M.Arch).
• Architectural registration preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in educational or commercial architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Revit; familiarity with Enscape, Bluebeam, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign a plus.
• Solid understanding of building codes, construction systems, and detailing.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
