The 16th Annual Gingerbread Build-Off
Join us on December 13 at Levy Park and watch competing teams create 100% edible, architectural masterpieces using gingerbread, candy, and all sorts of other sweet treats. Michael G. Meyers Design & Scholarship Competition is an annual event sponsored by Architecture Center Houston Foundation, AIA Houston, and local architecture firms and affiliates. This is an idea competition with an emphasis on creative problem solving and graphic presentation. All Houston area high school students are invited to participate.

Join us for the 5th Annual Clays for College shooting event, a fundraiser supporting the MGMC Scholarship Fund, on Monday, March 30. What a fun way to help raise scholarship money for high school students as they prepare to become future Architects. This will be a day of support, competition, recreation, and fun. Participation is open to all.

Step into Architecture Center Houston (ArCH). We are dedicated to celebrating the architecture and design that reflects our city’s diverse cultural heritage. 

ArCH welcomes people of all backgrounds and disciplines to explore our exhibitions, participate in educational programs and engage in events that foster a deeper connection to our built environment. 

Join our community as an AIA Houston member, a student or anyone curious about design who seeks to create a more inclusive and vibrant future for Houston through the power of architecture.

Construction Notice & Parking:

Effective June 2, the Main Street project is entering Phase 1, which will impact the west side of Main Street, including a staging area along the 900 block of Commerce. Please plan accordingly when driving to the Architecture Center. Construction is expected to increase traffic congestion, and impact parking availability in the area.
