Architectural Designer

Cosmati Architects is a design-focused practice dedicated to the renewal of beauty through the practice of architecture in the classical tradition. Our work includes churches, schools, and related civic buildings, with an emphasis on beauty, craft, and continuity with Western patrimony.

We are seeking an early-career Architectural Designer (0–5 years) with classical training or a demonstrated interest in traditional and sacred architecture. This is a formative role intended for someone seeking mentorship, responsibility, and exposure to the full design process. The successful candidate will contribute to design development, drawing production (Revit and hand), research, detailing, and presentation work while collaborating closely with senior architects.

Qualifications

• Degree in architecture (or equivalent training)
• 0–5 years professional experience
• Classical or traditional training, or strong demonstrated interest
• Interest in sacred architecture and liturgical buildings
• Strong drawing instincts and attention to detail
• Collaborative, curious, and eager to learn
• Experience with ecclesiastical work is a plus

Compensation is dependent on the skill set, culture fit and preparation of the candidate but typical ranges for an entry level position at Cosmati are $50K – $80K with a generous flexible time off policy.
