About this Course
Architecture plays a pivotal role in the success of mega events, as it shapes the physical environments. One of the key elements in the planning of mega events is accessibility. We will be talking specifically about accessibility and the Olympic and Paralympic Games. We will also touch on the World Cup coming to Houston 2026. Accessibility when done properly allows a smooth operation and promotes the inclusion of all stakeholders responding to the principles of both sports events. The objective of this presentation is to have look at accessibility at scale of stadiums when transformed for the mega events.
