New Building Tour: HCU’s Smith Engineering, Science and Nursing Building

Emerging Professional Committee invites you to tour HCU’s new Smith Engineering, Science and Nursing Building.
Houston Christian University partnered with Kirksey to design the 71,000-square-foot Smith Engineering, Science, and Nursing Building to expand its STEM and nursing programs and support future enrollment growth. Located on the east side of campus, the building blends modern elements like a glass curtain wall and cantilevered lab spaces with the university’s traditional architectural style. The ground floor is dedicated to engineering, the second floor to nursing with simulation labs, and the top floor to advanced science labs. Designed through a collaborative process, the facility also incorporates energy-efficient features and allows for future campus expansion.
