Designing HERstory: Black Women and the Many Paths to Licensure

In celebration of Women’s History Month, join HNOMA, UofHNOMAS and UofHBSID for the Designing HERstory: Black Women and the Many Paths to Licensure Panel.
Less than 1% of licensed architects are Black women. Join us to hear how four Houston women share their journeys toward licensure.
This event is part of the Letter to Ms. 1000: Black Woman HERstory Tour. And in collaboration with the UH Black Students in Design and UH National Organization of Minority Architecture Students, “the black mindset.” art exhibit.
Panelists include Melvalean McLemore-Catina, Fallon Barrett, Camille EJ Lewis, and Isabelle Ndoumy-Kouakou.
Moderators are Amber Gaines and Edes Imoyera.
