On Exhibit

Unequal Inequities

Please join us at Architecture Center Houston for an immersive exhibit that traces the evolution of our city’s land value disparities, and the lasting influence segregation has had on our urban landscape. Launched by the discovery of two architecturally identical Houston homes with extraordinarily different real estate values – the exhibit explores how pivotal policy changes, architectural trends, and social movements have shaped our city’s communities. From the impact of redlining and discriminatory housing practices to the rise of gentrification, this exhibit will challenge your perceptions and inspire a deeper understanding of Houston’s complex history.
