Continuing Education Requirements
All registered Architect Members (except those with Emeritus status) must complete 18 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), at least 12 in topics related to health, safety and welfare (HSW). Learn more about AIA’s continuing education requirements.
However, in order to maintain your license in the state of Texas, all registered architects (this includes practicing Emeritus members) must complete at least 12 Continuing Education Program Hours (CEPH) per calendar year. More information can be found on the TBAE website.
Transcripts
AIA national offices manage all membership CE records. To obtain a copy of your transcript, visit the AIA national website. If you have questions about CE credits for a class offered by AIA Houston, contact us.
Self Report Form
Many informal activities qualify for CEHs. Log in with your AIA number at the AIA National Website, and go to the handy online self-report form.
