Design Associate I

Associate I Prerequisites

A professional degree in an accredited program is required. Demonstrated basic knowledge of industry standard programs is required such as Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and the Microsoft suite of products is required. Demonstrate basic knowledge of building and zoning codes and an understanding of how to locate regulations as required.

Report to Director of Design

Demonstrated basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion, Enscape, Photoshop and InDesign are required. An Associate with primary focus in the conceptual and schematic phases of a project. Performs analyses of design, planning, and occupancy studies, and limited design layouts. Responsible for generating hand drawn and computer-generated sketches, site plans, and renderings. Other responsibilities might include, but are not limited to, creation of meeting minutes and interpreting redlines and markups.
