HUNTERS CREEK HOUSE, is a contemplative dwelling shaped by memory, nature, and the quiet rhythm of time. Nestled among mature pine trees and gently tracing the contours of Briar Creek, the home stands as both renewal and homage.

Originally built in 1972 by architect Jack Philpot, the previous house was fully demolished down to its concrete slab. Kamyar and Jaclyn Biazar reimagined the residence from the ground up—preserving the original foundation while crafting a new home that honors the spirit of what once was.

Drawing inspiration from the understated elegance of 1950s ranch-style architecture, the design is rooted in simplicity and reflection. A living tree anchors the heart of the home, both physical centerpiece and poetic symbol. Around it, the architecture unfolds in quiet lines, soft light, and tactile materials that speak to calm and presence.

Expansive glass dissolves the threshold between interior and landscape, inviting the forest and creek into daily life. Natural white oak hardwood floors lend warmth and balance to a palette of restraint. This is minimalism as emotion,an architecture of silence, where shelter becomes a sensorial experience.

Hunters Creek House is more than a residence; it is a retreat where design slows down, allowing life to breathe. A space shaped not only by form and function, but by feeling. A new home built on old ground, where the boundary between architecture and nature fades into a single, enduring gesture.
