DESCRIPTION:Join us for the third session of the EP University Lecture Series: Project Delivery. \nAll architecture projects have fundamentally followed the same processes from programming\, to design\, to documentation and construction. This course reveals the step-by-step process in delivering a project from conception to reality. \n\nReview the phases of design – Programming\, Site Planning\, Schematic Design\, and Design Development – to understand the processes and deliverables for each phase\nUnderstand the project team member roles – internal and external – and how projects move from person to person and phase to phase\nUnderstand the process of developing construction documents to execute the design vision – from cartoon set\, to establishing what to draw\, why to draw it\, and what team members are responsible for confirming constructability and details\nReview the process of formally issuing drawings including sealing documents\, labelling drawings\, permitting documents\, transmitting drawings and handling drawing revisions\n\nPresented by Jeanette Shaw of Powers Brown Architecture\, this session offers 1LU CE credit.  \nLunch is provided. \nLocation: Powers Brown Architecture\, MKT 600 N Shepherd\, Building 3\, Suite 300\, Houston\, TX 77007 \nAdvanced registration is required.
