We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Architectural Associate to join our design team. This role is perfect for an aspiring architect with a passion for creating high-quality design and construction documents, as well as producing polished interactive models and graphics. The Architectural Associate will contribute to bringing our creative vision to life, collaborating closely with the team to deliver exceptional design solutions and supporting the overall project development process.
Key Responsibilities:
Interact with clients throughout the design process, from the initial layout through permitting.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure budgeting for specification production, and coordinate scheduling and production of project specifications.
Maintain proficiency in construction products, techniques and sequences by staying abreast of product developments, new materials, code changes, and current industry trends.
Prepare Revit site plans for Architectural Project Manager by compiling surveys/elevation certificates, FEMA maps, soils reports, deed restrictions, and permitting requirements.
Submit plans for ACC/ARC/HOA approval and/or city/county permitting authorities.
Assist in the Takeoff/Bidding process.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines – phases, milestone deliveries and various project delivery types.
Review in-progress drawings, ensuring complete and coordinated technical specifications and offering modifications and improvements when appropriate.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of experience with an architectural firm, preferably including high-end residential projects.
Skills:
Demonstrate computer skills including knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Adobe Suite Products.
Strong understanding of architectural design and construction processes.
Exceptional ability to create detailed models.
Excellent organization skills for maintaining libraries and templates.
Familiarity with design-build project workflows.
