DESCRIPTION:Grab your bowling team\, put on your best costume\, and join the Michael G. Meyers Committee (MGMC) for the Bowl-O-Ween Bash on Friday\, October 30\, at Emerald Bowl! Enjoy a fun-filled evening of bowling\, costumes\, and friendly competition while supporting a great cause. Meyers Design & Scholarship Competition (MGMC) is an annual event sponsored by Architecture Center Houston Foundation and AIA Houston. This is an ideas competition for high school students that emphasizes creative problem-solving. Students participate in a series of events led by architects\, such as learning basic architectural drawing skills and understanding clients’ needs. Winning students receive scholarships to a university or college of their choice. The program has awarded over $250\,000.00 in scholarships over the years.
